Dr. Kong Yan Ling is a Ministry of Health accredited Consultant Dermatologist. She has special interest in paediatric dermatology, inpatient/hospital dermatology and aesthetic dermatology and lasers. She is well-versed in skin surgery and is experienced in managing a broad range of general dermatology conditions including but not limited to eczema, psoriasis, acne, pigmentary disorders, hair/ nail disorders, skin allergies and urticaria. In addition, as a result of her experience in inpatient dermatology, she is confident with the use of systemic medications and biologics to manage patients with severe eczema, psoriasis, urticaria and immunobullous
diseases. Dr Kong believes in providing up-to-date, personalised and holistic care for her patients.
Prior to joining Dermatology & Surgery Clinic, Dr Kong was a Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC), and a Visiting Consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. At NSC, she was a core dermatologist in the divisions of paediatric dermatology and inpatient/hospital dermatology. She was also appointed a clinical tutor for the National University of Singapore (NUS), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University. In recognition of her dedication to educating junior doctors, she was awarded the National Healthcare Group Teaching Excellence Award.
