Dr Peter Ang is a consultant medical oncologist. He is currently enjoying private practice at OncoCare Cancer Centre with a group of partners and friends.
His completed his undergraduate medical training at the National University of Singapore and his postgraduate qualifications include Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine and Member of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom). He trained in medical oncology at the National Cancer Centre, Singapore and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, USA.
Dr Ang is involved in clinical care as well as translational research. His research interest in breast/ovarian cancer syndrome led his group to publish on comprehensive breast/ovarian clinical cancer genetics testing in Asia (Cancer Epidemiol Biomarkers Prev, 2007) His other research publications include the Journal of Clinical Oncology (on CHEK2, 2008), Clinical Genetics (on TP53, 2009), New England Journal of Medicine (on PALB2, 2014), Lancet Oncology and NPJ Genomic Medicine (2016).
